From private-label workshop to a name of our own
Long before Woolmandu existed, our team spent decades knitting wool garments for other people’s labels, shipped out under other brands’ names. It was the work that taught us the craft.
When that wholesale demand quieted down, we saw a different opportunity: to put our own name on what we make. Woolmandu is the result — built on the same hands and the same standards, now telling its own story.

One workshop, start to finish
Everything happens under one roof at our own production facility in Kathmandu. Nothing is outsourced to unseen subcontractors — we control the wool sourcing, the knitting, the finishing, and the working conditions our artisans return to every day.
That closeness is what keeps quality consistent and keeps employment steady for the people who make each piece.
Quality you feel before you read about it
We choose wool for three things: how soft it feels, how well it holds warmth, and how long it lasts under everyday use. Traditional knitting techniques meet modern quality checks, so no piece leaves the workshop until it’s been tested against all three.
